The International Workshop 2009 on Safe Human Computer Interaction

June 25 - 27, 2009, Korea University, Seoul, Korea

Brief Description of International Workshop

It keeps going on the efforts to overcome the obstacle between human and computers through Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Ubiquitous Computing (UC). HCI is a discipline to study the interaction between people and computers. Context-Aware (CA) and Ambient Intelligence (AmI) are central issues in HCI, which consider the users context, when creating user interfaces in ubiquitous environments. For this purpose, many technologies are involved including Terminal Technology, System Technology, Network Technology, Platform Technology, Application Technology, Artificial Intelligence etc. However, sometimes users may get wrong results due to many attackers during the communication. That is why security technology is needed for effective and reliable communication in human computer interaction. The special session will provide a forum for researchers in the field of security technology and human computer interaction to present novel ideas, problems and solutions. The main goal of the special session is to bring security issues of CA and AmI.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following

Secure Policy for HCI
- Authentication and Identity Management
- Secure Context-Aware
- Personnel Security and Privacy

Secure Network for HCI
- Secure input user interface
- Secure interactive Wire/Wireless Network
- Secure sensor Network
- Secure Grid Computing

Security System for HCI
- Secure Web System
- Secure Agency

etc
